First 100 days of Drive Business Performance!

Both Joey and I have been really blessed by the feedback, reviews our first book has received! Thank you!

  • June was extremely busy with presentations and signing at the Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston, the Microsoft Global Exchange in Atlanta as well as the Balanced Scorecard European Summit in London.
  • Among other coverage, we’d like to highlight a recent fun interview on the Brad Brooks Business Talk show. Please find a 3 minute summary here.
  • Also, a quick video of our Stanford University presentation is now available here – be sure to check it out!
Finally – we have co-authored a second book, Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 and it is now available on Amazon. Be sure to take a look, especially if you are a technical individual as it complements Drive Business Performance.

Drive Business Performance has now been available for 30 days!

In addition to the great coverage at the World Innovation Forum, the Stanford Executive Briefings and the latest Balanced Scorecard North American Summit, the book has been enjoying great recognition:

  • Amazon’s top 50 business book in first week after availability!

  • Business Finance Magazine’s "Book Pick" (see review here)

  • Brilliance’s audio book launch (listen to excerpt here, order here)

  • Stanford Bookstore bestseller in May 2008!

Thanks all for the letters and great reviews!

Monday

New Performance Management Book!

Drive Business Performance will be available at your local bookstore (Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc.) by April 25, 2008.

However, you can pre-order it now for 40% off from Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

Drive Business Performance explains the competitive advantage experienced by organizations that create and manage a "Culture of Performance." It is filled with first-hand accounts from Fortune 500 companies who are winning by building accountability, intelligence, and informed decision-making into their organizational DNA. The book aims to demystify performance management and is jargon-free.

We were very fortunate to have Drs. Robert Kaplan & David Norton, creators of the Balanced Scorecard management methodology, contribute the Foreword.
